30 years later....not the same Spellman
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't know whether you have experienced Spellman recently or are an alum from her time-- or if you are just going by what you have heard.. But as far as I have seen during my time and after my time there I have met some of the most passionate and smart young men and women in that building. Different? yes. Still amazing? Hell yes.
ReplyDeleteI graduated from Spellman last year, and was fortunate enough to hear her come and speak on career day. I think it is amazing to see what hard work and perseverance can get you, no matter what your background.
ReplyDeleteI also graduated last year from Spellman and was lucky enough to see her on career day. I'm so proud of how far Sotomayor has come and it inspires a recent graduate like myself to aim high in life.
ReplyDeleteI was at Spellman in her class (1969). I was on the Forensics team and I remember her. That was 40 years ago. She was a bright and sincere girl. Can't believe she's the radical racist lefty they're portraying her as. She seemed to have a good heart then.
